I am kind of thinking I should start out with Symphonia because its the 'oldest' one and I have heard good things about it.

I got Symphonia, Berseria, and Vesperia for really cheap on PC with Special-Ks fixes and mods that really fix and upgrade the games.
Valkyria Chronicles includes core features such as Epic Storyline, Customization, Role-playing Element, Battlefield, and more. Tales of Arise looked really impressive and made me want to finally get into the series.
